Alhorn stands for the strategic development and precise production of components in 2K and multi-component injection moulding. However, we also manufacture 1K components with high standards of precision and efficiency. Whether 2-component injection moulding, 3K or just one material: we cover the entire process chain from tool development to quality-tested series production. We also integrate inserts such as contacts, threads and other ultra-fine inserts in perfect precision injection moulding.

Through our German centres of expertise, we at Alhorn manage the high-precision injection moulding and toolmaking section for the international market. With 270 employees and over 90 machines, we ensure perfect and technically sophisticated injection moulding products and tools every day.

While 2K injection moulding is an established process for obtaining ›ready-to-install‹ series parts from just one mould, we achieve further possibilities for integrating functions in a single component by combining three materials in one injection process.
Alhorn, for example, we produce high quantities of rail sliders for window lifters using an index plate mould. The materials used in this specific product example are a polyamide with a glass fibre content of 45 percent, a POM and a TPE-U.
